Joy in the little steps

thought for today on the struggle progressing in our walk with God.

Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

I would rather stumble and even fall and get back up than to stay down. I would rather crawl than stand still. I would rather be carried than regress. God help us all desire, strive, and trust when the way is hard. Help us to fight the tendencies we have to groan and complain. Give us faithfulness in the small steps, endurance in the tight places, hand holds where the way is high. Give us humility and grace, strength and mercy. Give us joy in the smallest of victories.
